Pls help me which one would be better for me?

Hey my pc is 3 years old and it is not able to run new games so i was planning to buy a graphics card then i thought instead of buying a graphic card why not buy a ps2 coz a good gr card and ps2 will not have much difference in price but then now ps2 will be out of dated coz ps3 has come and i cnt afford that so i am not able to decide what to do.pls give ur suggestions
