How to get him to ask me out?

so there's this guy i like. he's 18 and im 16. he admitted that he likes me and he knows that a really like him, but he says that we're not dating yet. we already act like a couple. we cuddle, hold hands, he walks me to class, he's always telling me how cute i am and we text eachother everyday en if we have nothing to talk about. so how do i get him to ask me out? i cnt ask him out because one of our friends asked me out for him without his permission right in front of him...my guy fried said that HE has to ask ME out. we've talked about dating, so how do i get him to ask me out?????
