How do I navigate Inkpop?

yeah... I just got an Inkpop account and I have no idea how to navigate the site or what it's all about. I mean, I've been on quizilla, so I guess I thought it was similar. So, I just don't understand it. For example, on the main page, they've got the top 5 'projects' or something. I clicked on one and it doesn't let you read it all. Do you have to buy it or something? I'm just looking for someone to explain the site or give me a little guide to what it's about, please!
