I dropped my ipod plz help! :(?

this morning i had my ipod in my hand and i was reaching for something at a top shelf, which is about 5"10, and my ipod fell out and fell to the floor. is this enough to mess it up/? it was working perfectly fine after and i went out today. when i got home i was trying to unlock it and the screen is frozen. but i got mssgs n it shows on the notifications. was tht fall enough to mess it up? cud i get it fixed??? is there anything i can do? its frozen n wnt let me unlock it or nthing. plz help. i cnt live without my baby! and plz excuse my horrible spelling. im in a hutrry n i just got my nails done n i cnt type well right now, thnx so much.
